Giving From Gratitude

Hello friends!

What a blessing it is to be your pastor.

This last year has been incredible-- I've been able to see so many powerful and beautiful new things come out of our ten acres. hundreds of people being welcomed to our campus, new members, great growth in worship, new life beginnings, and so much more.

This Sunday and next we are going to respond to what God has done and is doing through our church by setting our giving commitments for 2023.

At the center of all of this adventure has been the generosity of you, because you are the church.

You’ve given freely of your time. People have sacrificially given hours to clean the church, welcome new visitors, repair our building, and create new things.

You’ve given freely of your talent. People sing and play instruments, they go over the numbers, they teach kids and teenagers, and they serve in the nursery.

You’ve given freely of your prayers. People have prayed for me, your pastor, prayed for our neighborhood, and prayed that God would do things with our faithfulness.

As we continue this Stewardship Adventure, I want you to do 2 things:

  1. Pray. Pray that as our church continues to see new people join and new ways to love our neighborhood that we would rise to the occasion and fulfill the calling God has given us.

  2. Begin to dream. Dream about the ways that you can use your time, talent and prayer to serve this church and our neighborhood.

Thank you for allowing me to be your pastor. What an incredible honor it is to be around what God is doing on these ten acres.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Michael
