Planning for Gratitude
Hello friends!
We know this-- when we give to our church, we give for one reason. Not obligation or for recognition-- we give out of the gratitude we have for what God has done for us.
This past year you’ve given so faithfully of your money. We have seen average weekly giving go up. We’ve seen overall giving go up. We’ve paid all of our bills, added to our staff, and grown (a LOT) in our apportionment giving. We’ve been able to support our sister church and love on our Elementary school, Medulla.
We’ve come to the season in the life of our church where we set our intentions for giving. This helps us grow as individuals and as a church. Giving should never be an obligation and it should also never be accidental.
Generosity becomes a habit when we do it on a regular basis. What a powerful habit to develop! Setting goals for giving helps us know how close we are to being on track with what God has called us to achieve.
To that end, this week and next we will be turning in our pledge cards. These cards report what we plan on giving in the coming year. This is to help your church plan on what new ministries we can begin and what new adventures God might call us towards.

Grace and Peace,
